What is TIC?

Developed by a telecom research analyst with more than 23 years of experience in the industry,

TIC is made up of 90+ telco service provider executives who provide unique insight into important business and technology trends, such as:

  • 5G
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
  • Virtualization and Digital Transformation
  • Automation
  • The Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities
  • Industry 4.0
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Big Data
  • Malware & Cybersecurity

Why was TIC created?

Companies need deep insights into what’s really happening on operator networks, but current methodologies fall short because of:

Surprisingly large fees are charged for access to this audience of experts

A lack of senior experts at operator organizations who are willing to engage in surveys

Failure to secure expert input leads to questionable findings

But TIC is different

Manageable fees

An already-engaged, targeted group of telecom executives with extensive knowledge of service provider networks

A track record of exceptional engagement including in-depth participant feedback

How does TIC work?

1

You work closely with our team to create a survey of up to 10 questions. You can find a sample survey here.

2

The survey is sent to all TIC members, who are given ample time to respond.

3

Our unique surveys enable operators to provide insightful comments, explain their answers and include details that aren’t possible with other firms.
You even have the option of asking follow-up questions for more clarity or deeper understanding.
"Mature CSPs who have a better handle on their data would be able to move ahead with automation, monetization and unified view while CSPs with disparate data structures would need some time to cleanse and standardize their data across applications before they reap the benefits.""

Once all of the responses are in, our team tallies the results into an Excel file. All data and operator feedback is used to create reports, case studies, white papers and webinars – or whatever output best suits your needs. Example data below:

What are the most important factors driving your 5g architecture?

5

We provide you with all of the data from the survey, enabling you to reprint, white-label and badge the data for no additional cost!

Who are TIC members?

All members of TIC are scouted and personally invited to participate based on their extensive knowledge of their company’s network.

Organizations of all sizes and from around the world are represented.

TIC members are guaranteed anonymity, which enables them to participate meaningfully and provide knowledgeable feedback on business and technology trends.

The only incentive that TIC members receive is a copy of the completed report, helping control your costs and ensuring that participants are sincerely interested in and have understanding of survey topics.

This is an example of service provider representation in one recent report:

"5G involves a network transformation like no other. The impact of 5G on the architecture of a network provider is transformative. The disaggregation, programmability and automation involved in creating 5G networks will enable a new class of service provider. As such, it’s crucial to lay the right foundational services to begin this transformative process before committing to a 5G production rollout."
